Rowlett is home to approximately 55,000 residents and is nestled on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard in far east Dallas County and a portion of west Rockwall County.
Rowlett has more than 30 miles of shoreline on the lake, making it one of the most beautiful places to live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The 8-acre Sapphire Bay will be the centerpiece of Rowlett’s planned $1 billion Bayside development on Interstate 30. The 262-acre project also includes a resort hotel, marina and thousands of residential units. The project will include over 1 million square feet of office, retail, restaurant, and entertainment space.
As a resident of Rowlett since 1990 and board member of Keep Rowlett Beautiful, I would love to show you around our city and surrounding areas.
